Hour 1 Activity/ Where Am I Reading

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Where AM I reading from today?
Today I will be reading from Saint Peters, MO in my study leg up in my favorite reading chair.

3 facts about me …
I am an 8th grade communication arts teacher now but use to be an LPN.

I have a 97 year dad who is still kicking it and taught me the value of story!

Fall is my favorite season.
How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
Three to start with, I trying to be realistic, but I have lots of backups
Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
Actually my main goal is to be a terrific  cheerleader, read as much as I can, and have agreat time with some of the challenges.
If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?
Not a veteran, but I do know that some of us (myself included) are not up for a full 24 hours so don't sweat it. Just have lots of fun!

I hope you're doing well! Reading chairs are so important for a readathon, don't you think?
