Terrific Trailers Thursday

Thursday, July 8, 2010
Ever since I saw my first book trailer I have been fascinated by them. I am even planning on using this media next year as a way to have my students review books. Hopefully I will be able to post some of their trailers once the school year gets going.

Since these are amazing ways to interest readers in a book, I am going to start posting trailers I have found every Thursday. My first one is this week is for the book Poison Diaries by Mayrose Wood which is to be released this month, and I can't wait to read it.

Next up is Dark Divine by Bree Despain, who by the way is having a fab giveaway so go check it out.

Beastly by Alex Flinn is an urban retelling of Beauty and the Beast and has been made into a movie. I love this book and  the trailer and had to add this to my Terrific Trailer Thursday.

Another terrific movie trailer from a book is this one from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows man does this look like the best Harry Potter movie yet or what?

Finally, as I wait impatiently for Maria Snyder's third book in her Glass studies, Spy Glass, which will be out this September, I found a beautiful trailer of Storm Glass the first book in this triology and decided to include it.

So have you found any terrific trailers? Love to see them!

Thanks for sharing these trailers, they are all really amazing. I love the trailer for The Dark Divine, very haunting, it pulled me right in.

I am slightly obsessed with Harry Potter, so seeing that trailer only made it harder to wait for the movie to come out. I was surprised that I liked the Beastly trailer so much, as I am not too much of a Beauty and the Beast fan. This is a great idea! I love it.
