It's Monday Here's What I've Been Reading

Monday, May 24, 2010

This is a great Monday because it is the last Monday of the 2009/2010 school year for me. In four more days I will be out for the summer, and I have ever intention of making this a summer filled with lots of reading.

I am also very excited today because I will be making some drastic changes to the blog thanks to the hard work of Lori at Pure Imagination Designs. Lori is also a book blogger so make sure you visit her blog Pure Imagination.

Of course Monday is for taking a look at what I accomplished last week thanks to Shelia over at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books

Books Read:

The Red Umbrella by  Christina Diaz Gonzalez
The Cardturner by Louis Sachar
Suddenly Supernatural: School Spirit by Elizabeth Cody Kimmel
Morpheus Road: The Light by DJ McHale (audio book)

Reviews Completed:

I am still behind on my reviews so I really need to stop procrastinating and just write. So my promise to myself is to write more this week.

So exciting! A new look! I'm really liking it so far! I will definitely have to check out Lori's site as well.

I can't wait to hear what you think of Morpheus Road, so yes, start writing! LOL.

Anywho...Have a fantastic reading week and if you get a chance, stop by: Monday Reading's at There's A Book

Almost time for more reading - that's great. What have you lined up? Is it a huge pile of books that you've "wanted to read for a long time but..."? :-)

Have a great week!

I love the new look! I will add your blog button to my blog roll.

I look forward to hearing what you thought of The Red Umbrella. The reviews I've read were all really positive.

I am usuallly behind on my reviews too. It takes me a long time to write each one. Only occasionally do I find a book that is easy to review. Hopefully that will improve with more experience!

I hope you have a great week!

Great books! Hope you find time to read and enjoy them! Have a great week! Stop by and check out what I got at The Wormhole
I like the new look!! Great scrapbook feel! I can't read your comments though - and I had a hard time finding the post a comment spot. I am going to grab your button and put it on my side bar!

Mentioned in another comment that I think your new blog look is great!
I am with you on need to write more reviews. But then I wouldn't get to stop by to say "hi" and see what others are reading. What's a reviewer to do? Sigh

Happy reading!
