It's Monday Here's What I've Been Reading

Monday, October 4, 2010
It's Monday What Are You Reading is a wonderful weekly meme hosted by Shelia  at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, and asks the question: What are you reading?

Well I thinks its time to pull out the long sleeves and jacket as October hes cool it down in the midwest. Time for soccer games and apple picking and things that fo bump in the night.
It was a really slow week for me I have several review to write, and didn't get a on done. Yikes! and only managed to finish two books this week. Double Yikes!

Here's what I read:

Twelfth Grade Kills by Heather Brewer
The Duff by Kody Keplinger

Currently reading and listening to:

Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
The Replacement by Breena Yovanoff

I am also happy to announce that the winner of the Bloggers Speak Out Giveaway is...

Ava C.
An email has been sent to inform Ava of her win.

Hopefully I will have a more productive week this week...more reviews at least.

So what are you reading?

Totally with you on the reviews, I have so much catching up to do *sigh.* I read Twenty Boy Summer last year and really enjoyed it and listened to Speak on audio last week ... good choices. Happy reading and reviewing :)

it's nice to have a slow wekk every now and then. we're on holidays here and lots of visitors, so i've hardly been reading or going online. feels kinda nice for a change.

hope you read something awesome this week!

I have a pile of reviews backing up too... but I still wish a slow reading week for me was completing 2 books - that's a great week for me (if I'm working)!

Great books! I'm interesting in seeing your thoughts on The DUFF (I personally loved it!). I'm also reading Nevermore :)

I need to read Speak! It's coming to me this week -- so excited!

I was able to read a fabulous YA book and interview the author that you might like -- Beth Revis' Across the Universe was fantastic!

Here's my Monday: Coffee and a Book Chick -- Mailbox Monday...

Oooooh, Speak, The DUFF, and Twenty Boy Summer are all on my TBR pile :) Can't wait to read your reviews!

"Twenty Boy Summer" sounds intriguing -- and "The Replacement" is on my list as well.

Finished (and enjoyed) A Wind in Montana by Mitch Davies. (I loved, by the way, that he's a child of the media; his dad worked his whole life in the film industry. You can tell this guy grew up knowing that stories are all-important!) It's a nice portrait of teen life and what they go through, what they're thinking about, what their future looks like, how they can make those futures happen. Even the sex is realistic -- it's not about teen sex, but it does show the main characters as discovering sex responsibly.

Yup, I'm another one who has to catch up on reviews. I swear I was on top of them only two weeks ago - how does this happen?

Enjoy your books and Autumn activities this week!

I don't always have time for reviews, either - no worries!

I haven't heard of any of the books you're reading right now, but they sound interesting. Have a good reading week!

LOL, just noticed you had a picture saying waiting on Wesenday. I had to look at my phone to make sure it was indeed Tuesday and I did not enter some type of time chamber.

Thanks for that bit :)

It's getting quite cold here as well. I guess it's good weather to stay in and read a book!
