It's Monday Here's What I'm Reading

Monday, October 11, 2010
It's Monday What Are You Reading is a wonderful weekly meme hosted by Shelia  at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, and asks the question: What are you reading?

Thanks to the Dewey 24 hour Read-a-thon I got more than two books read last week, and I am hoping to get more read this week since I have a three day weekend coming up (yeah!).

Book finished:

Twelfth Grade Kills by Heather Brewer
The Replacements by Brenna Yovnoff  (audio)
Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
When the Black Girl Sing by Bil Wright
Heart With Joy by Steve Cushman
Carter's Big Break by Brent Crawford

Reviews Posted:
Losing Faith by Denise Jaden
The Duff by Kody Keplinger

Up Next:

Annexed by Sharon Dogar
Wicked Girls by Stephanie Hemphill

After that not sure since I have a huge stack of books set aside to buy from the school's Book Fair this week.

What have you been reading?

I see that you've been busy during the read-a-thon and not just reading!

Some reviews to catch up on it looks like - I've got the same problem. When you read more, you have to review more! :-)

Happy reading week!

We have a three day weekend coming too, but visiting family will probably mean I can't ignore everyone and just read. Sigh. Congrats on getting so many books read!

I am SO excited to see that you've finished reading/listening to both Nevermore and The Replacement. Both of these books have been my most anticipated read for this year and I *really* hope that I'd get the chance to read them soon. Really hope that you enjoy the book and am looking forward for the reviews.

Have a good week and happy reading!

Wow you did read a lot this week! I've never tried a read-a-thon. My days are usually so busy, it's hard to imagine being able to set aside that much reading time, especially with the kids around!

Enjoy your book fair books!

What a great list! Nevermore looks especially good. Thanks for sharing these :}. My find of the week is a book by David A. Cleinman called, "Principle Destiny," which is about a farm girl whose royal title of princess has been taken away by her father. She secretly joins an important race to win it back. The story kept my interest all the way through and was very exciting.

I have a huge stack of books sitting by too, I never know what to pick up next! It's fun, but also daunting sometimes, lol.
