It's Monday Here's What I Am Reading

Monday, September 6, 2010

Happy Labor Day

When I was growing up this was the last Monday and holiday before I went back to school. I always thought that this was the reason my parents and every other adult I knew celebrated.

Now, it is the first holiday I get in the school year, and an extra day that I get to read. Yeah!

It's Monday What Are You Reading is a wonderful weekly meme hosted by Shelia  at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, and asks you to answer the question: What are you reading?

Here is what I read this week:

Plain Kate by Erin Bow
Girl Stolen by April Henry
Firelight by Sophie Jordan
Paranormalcy by Kirsten White

I also reviewed

Viral by Kathy Reichs

Currently listening to
Inside Out by Maria Snyder

Hope everyone has a great Monday.

Ooooh. Firelight and Paranormalcy. I dont really read in the paranormal genre but both these books have kind of been calling out to me for some reason. (calling out through the internet - both arent available in Australia yet).

I'm reading a bunch of Aussie stuff :)

I don't usually read much paranormal stuff, but Paranormalcy intrigues me. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

It looks like you are a fast reader. I think I'd love to read Girl Stolen.

I am currently reading Eating Animals (for a review and giveaway), and I have of course read a lot of children's book this week too.

On my to read list is Practical Glamour (which I will be giving away 2 copies of), and The Possibility of Everything by Hope Edelman.
I would like to invite you to Book Lover’s Blog Hop@Story Time Under the Stars. At the Book Lovers’ Blog Hop you can link up a book review and connect with other book reviewers.
