Its Monday Here's What I'm Reading

Monday, July 26, 2010
It's Monday What Are You Reading is a wonderful weekly meme hosted by Shelia  at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books, and asks you to answer the question: What are you reading?

Last week I read:

Claire de Lune by Christine Johnson
A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn
Gone by Michael Grant
Poison Diaries by Maryrose Wood with The Duchess of Northumberland
The Passage by Justin Cronin

I posted Book Look reviews for:

Before I Fall by Laurne Oliver
A Spy in the House by Y.S. Lee

and a Show Me Five Review for:

Shade by  Jeri Smith-Reading

I also did a guest post for a new weekly feature So I Thank You for the Books  from my blogging buddy, Vicki at Rhianna Reads.

This week I  bought three book, and borrow several titles from the library:

Linger by Maggie Stiefvator
7 Soul by Barnabas Miller and Jordan Orlando
Poison Diaries by  Maryrose Wood with The Duchess of Northumberland
Thirteen Days to Midnight by Patrick Carmen
Evernight by Claudia Gray
Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden
Sweet Hereafter by Angela Johnson

What I will be reading this week:

Linger by Maggie Steifvater

After that I am not sure.

So what are you reading?

I'm really loving your taste in books. Nice eclectic mix of contemp and para.

All five books you read last week are on my wish list :)

And yay for Tomorrow when the war began, I so love that series to death...

I'm two chapters off finishing My Name is Memory :) I have mixed feeling about it, LOL ;)

And, I think I'm going to read some verse novels next. I really love verse novels and have two new one (well, new to me) from Sonya Sones :)

I'm very curious to see what you thought of Gone and I'm glad you loved Before I Fall and Shade as they're all in my TBR pile! Very envious of you having Linger. Hopefully won't be too long til I have it in my mits! Just finished The Iron King and loved it! Wish bedtime wasn't so close now though because I want to continue with the others. :(

I hope you enjoy Linger. I keep hearing how good it is.

I liked your reviews of Before I Fall and Shade. Both were good books. I was really impressed with Before I Fall. I look forward to your review of The Poison Diaries. I have it on my TBR list.

Have a great week!

I'll be curious to read what you think about The Passage...I'm so on the fence about it and whether to read it or not.

Lots of interesting titles there. I'm wondering about The Passage - so many people have loved it, but I know it would take me all year to finish! Hope you have another great reading week.

Nice books this week! I've only heard of Linger, so I'm curious as to how you'll like the others. Hope you enjoy them all!

Wow, you really read a lot last week! Quite a mix, too. I just got The Passage for my birthday last week and am looking forward to reading it. I've heard such good things about it.

My TBR piles are overwhelming - I stlll haven't gotten to Shiver and now everyone is reading Linger!

I enjoyed your review of Claire de Lune. The concept of all female werewolves is compelling. Which means the villain is also female - which, while happening a bit more often, usually it's the male that's the villain. Different.

I'm looking forward to reading your review of Linger - a book that I keep coming across in my internet forays.
