HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU AMAZING MOMMIES

Welcome to In My Mailbox! This meme began with The Story Siren with some inspiration from Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. The idea behind IMM is put new books on your radar but to also encourage blogger interaction. IMM explores the weekly contents of my mailbox & books bought. And sometimes other fun goodies. so make sure you check out what lovelies can be found in other mailboxes too.

Going to the mailbox this week was almost like Christmas. Each time I opened that little flap or checked my doorstop another brown box or envelope was waiting to jump out at me. Seriously, I think I have reached the ranks of a compulsive book buyer and while I admit I have problem, I also admit that I do not plan on stopping anytime soon.

Look at all my goodies:
Heist Society by Ally Carter
Shade by  Smith Ready
Prince of Mist by Carlos Ruiz Zafron
Guardian of the Dead by Karen Healey
The Red Pyramid by Rick Riodan
Young Samurai: The Way of the Warrior by Chris Bradford
Spells by Aprilynne Pike
School of Possibilities by Seita Parkkola (from Publisher)
Magickeepers by Erica Kirov (from Publisher)
The Pony Whisperer: Word on the Yard by Janet Rising (from Publisher)

Yikes after listing all these I realize I have to speed up the reading just to keep my head above the books.

So what's in your mailbox?

I'm currently reading Angelology by Danielle Trussoni and this week I got 2 books... The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe and Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier. Not sure when I'll get to read them as I already have a growing pile waiting!

Enjoy your books! :)

I really love your blog header! It looks like you had a great haul this week. I got The Red Pyramid too, and I'm looking forward to it.

Great haul Jan!

After vising your blog and 2 others, I was reminded of 3 other books I got..lol and one of them was The Red Pyramid which I'm so excited about since I loved the Percy Jackson series so much.

I actually bought my copy of Hex Hall before it was officially released :-) The copy I bought yesterday was for a friend in my online book club. I can't wait til next year when HH2: Demonglass comes out!

I also have a problem with buying books. I get so depressed when there's nothing in the mailbox :( I think I prefer to order books, not only cause of the good deal, but because I LOVE getting them in the mail. It's like two highs, ordering them and then receiving them. Of course I love visiting bookstores too, but it's easier to not buy them then. For some reason. I spend more freely on line, I guess.
Anyway, looks like you had a great week! I have Heist Society waiting for me at the library. I want Shade SO bad! I have a friend who'll loan it to me but I want it to own! I've been trying to win it, so we'll see. I'm anxious to read Spells too, but it'll have to be from the library. I'm determined to not buy any books for awhile so I can save for BEA next year!

Awesome, awesome books! I won a copy of Shade, so I'm waiting impatiently for it to get here, haha. I also own Heist Society, and it's a very fun, light read! Hope you enjoy, and Happy Mother's Day to you too! :D

I loved Guardian of the Dead and I can't wait to read Spells, Red Pyramid, The Prince of Mist, and Heist Society!

Re: You mentioned that you like The Dead and the Gone the most out of the books in Pfeffer's series, but I think I like Life As We Knew It better so far. I think Alex in TDATG is a bit too machismo for me. Hmm. But it's still a good book!
